ABOUT us

The idea of the DataWorks Institute was born in 2024 from Dr Selena Fisk’s fundamental belief that data should empower, not intimidate.

Selena is a former teacher who saw firsthand how numbers could overwhelm people - but also how, that when used well, they could unlock clarity, confidence, and meaningful change.

Since 2020, her work in data storytelling, strategy, and culture has taken her around the world, helping leaders and teams turn data into decisions that matter.

The Institute is the next step in Selena’s journey: a place where her love of data meets her desire to make great training practical, human, and accessible for everyone.
